Robert Clark "Bob" Seger (born May 6, 1945) is an American singer, songwriter, guitarist and pianist.

Seger was born in Detroit, Michigan and has an older brother; when he was 5, he moved with his family to Ann Arbor. His father played many instruments as an amateur and Seger was exposed to music from a young age. In 1956, when Seger was 10 years old, his father left the family and moved to California, the two brothers and their mother went through some difficult financial days. He appeared on the Detroit music scene in 1961 with a three-member band called the Decibels with which he recorded his first rehearsal. He soon stood out with his hoarse loud voice but also his talent in composition, he has made many hits, for example: Old Time Rock & Roll, Turn The Page, Night Moves, We've Got Tonight, Against the Wind, Like a Rock ' '.

His career spans more than 5 decades, Siger continues to make music and give performances.
