Biography

Guillaume Cornelis van Beverloo, better known as Corneille, was a Dutch painter, printmaker, sculptor, poet, and one of the founding figures of the post-war CoBrA art movement. His vivid colors, lyrical imagery, and recurring motifs of birds, women, flowers, and landscapes made him one of the best-known European artists of his generation.
